Microsoft’s Regional Sales Management team had a library of internal branding, templates and tools, but the branding was obviously put together in a piecemeal way. There was no solid guidance for branding at the time. The RSM team needed a cohesive brand with guidelines for use, so they employed us to standardize and unify their brand. After assessing the current branding, we built a style guide that had a cohesive feel with Microsoft’s branding, and we developed use cases and assets using the guide we built. We even helped the team discover where assets requested needed to align more closely with the brand. Our design team worked closely with Microsoft’s brand team for the final sign off on the style guide and assets to create a unified brand for RSM.
